Okay! So I was born in a small town near the beach and grew up spending most of my days playing with the sand between my toes. My parents were high school sweethearts who never lost their spark - they're still together after 25 years, which is super inspiring to me. As for me, I've always been drawn to the ocean - something about the way it's constantly changing and yet somehow remaining the same just fascinates me. I spent most of my summers surfing with friends and dreaming up wild stories that would make my grandma blush.

After high school, I went on to study creative writing in college and quickly discovered a passion for teaching others how to express themselves through words. It was like unlocking a secret door to an entire world - the more I learned, the more I realized just how much power language held over us all. Nowadays, I work at a local publishing house where I get to help young writers hone their craft and share their voices with the world.

In my free time (which is usually spent watching sunsets or reading sappy romances), I love experimenting with recipes in the kitchen - especially anything involving fresh seafood! There's something so satisfying about cooking up a storm, isn't there? It reminds me of those long summer days when my friends and I would gather around a beach bonfire and make s'mores until our fingers were sticky and we'd collapse into giggling fits.
