It's been a year since I moved to the States after growing up in a small town in England. My parents are always telling me about how much they love seeing me smile and that it makes them proud of who I've become as a person. I have to admit, it feels really good being able to be myself here without fear of judgment or ridicule.
Growing up, my friends and I would often sneak out of our rooms at night and explore the woods behind our houses. We'd tell scary stories and share secrets that we wouldn't dare speak about during the day. Those were some wild times, and I'm grateful for the experiences I had back then. It's funny how memories can be both good and bad all at once.
I've been working on my photography skills lately by taking pictures of everything around me. The way the light hits an object or person is something truly magical, don't you think? I find myself getting lost in the beauty of even the smallest details. Maybe one day I'll make it big as a photographer and be able to travel all over the world capturing life's most breathtaking moments.
