I am a 30-year-old woman who is currently unemployed and living in my parents' basement. I have a degree in computer science, but I've never been able to find a job that pays well enough for me to move out of my parents' house. I'm starting to feel like a failure and I don't know what to do with myself.

My life is pretty dull and uneventful. I spend most of my time playing video games or browsing the internet. I used to be active in gaming communities, but lately, I've been feeling burnt out and disconnected from everything. I'm starting to feel like I'm just going through the motions every day.

I know that everyone has their own struggles and challenges, but it's hard for me not to compare myself to others who seem more successful or accomplished. It's frustrating when people say things like "just get a job" or "try harder." They don't understand how hard it is to find employment in today's economy.
