I've been living with my roommate in a small apartment since I finished high school. We're both still in college and working part-time jobs to make ends meet.
Lately, things have been pretty tough financially. Our landlord raised our rent by 10%, so we had to find ways to cut back on expenses. We started using public transportation instead of driving ourselves around town.
It's not the most ideal living situation, but it's better than nothing. At least we're able to stay together and support each other through these difficult times.
