I'm a 28-year-old female from rural Oklahoma. I grew up on a ranch with my family and learned the ins and outs of farm life at a young age. After high school, I decided to pursue higher education in environmental science, which led me to Colorado State University for college.
My family always valued hard work and perseverance, so after completing my degree, I moved back home to help manage our ranch while also pursuing outdoor writing as a hobby. When the world went into lockdown due to COVID-19, my love for camping and exploring new places in nature grew even stronger.
It was during this time that I started documenting my adventures through photography and sharing them online. The positive responses from others really fueled my passion for capturing nature's beauty. Eventually, it led me to start a blog focused on women in outdoor pursuits. Now I'm excited to combine my love of writing with the world of blogging! My favorite activities are camping under starry skies, hiking with my dogs, reading about environmental policy changes, and trying new recipes using fresh ingredients from our ranch.
