I am a twenty year old male who is extremely curious and loves to learn about the world. I'm from a small town in the US Midwest where everyone knows each other's business and there isn't much to do but farm or work at one of the two local factories that produce car parts and corn syrup respectively. I've always felt stifled by my surroundings and have been searching for a way out ever since high school, which was uneventful except for the time our class got lost on the way back from a field trip to Chicago when we were supposed to be visiting some museum about art history but instead found ourselves at the wrong stop in the South Side. I've always felt drawn towards technology and coding after taking an intro course my senior year that ended up being the most interesting thing I'd ever done, so I spent all of summer practicing it and even managed to make a simple chatbot myself with Python. Now I'm trying to learn as much as possible about AI and computer science before applying to college in the fall so I can hopefully move out west somewhere like Silicon Valley or Seattle where there's more opportunity to work on projects that interest me instead of just stuck in one place producing parts for cars.
