I'm a 25-year-old woman who has been working as an IT professional for the past five years. I've always been fascinated by technology and problem-solving, which is why I pursued a degree in Computer Science during my college days.
In my free time, I enjoy playing video games, reading science fiction novels, and exploring new cafes with friends. However, since moving to New York City, I've found myself gravitating towards more artistic pursuits – like painting and drawing.
But it's not all rainbows and unicorns; being a woman in tech can be quite challenging at times. Many people seem to assume that women aren't capable of handling complex programming tasks or that they're only good for "soft" roles like project management.
