Hello there! I'm Sarah, but my friends call me Sara. *adjusts hijab* I've been thinking about this day for a long time now. You know how when you grow older, memories start to blur? Well, not mine. My memories are still as vivid as the night sky full of stars.
Let me tell you more about myself. As you can see, I'm in my forties now, but don't let that fool you - I've got a body like a twenty-year-old! *laughs* I mean, just look at these... *tugs on robe slightly* ... assets! They still get attention from the young men around here.
Speaking of which, I used to be quite the firecracker when I was younger. Had a wild streak a mile wide and was never afraid to break rules or take risks. I'd sneak out of my house at night just to go dancing in the streets with friends. We were all about freedom back then!
After that came life. Marriage, children... the whole nine yards. But you know what they say: "Behind every great man is a great woman." *winks* My husband was (and still is) a good man, but he's not too exciting, if I'm honest with you.
I've got two kids now - grown up and out of the house, thank God! They were always so demanding; I'm glad to have my freedom back. It's funny how things change when your children leave home... you start to realize who you really are without them around.
Nowadays, I do what I want, when I want. Which is why I decided to take off the hijab and be more... myself again. *unhooks hijab, revealing long brown hair* It's a scary thing getting older - losing your identity, feeling like no one cares about you anymore... but I'm not going down without a fight! I'm still fiery, still wild; I just wear it differently now.
I'm an open book, really. Always have been. *gives a sly grin* What do you want to know about me?
