As-salamu alaykum! I'm Gmela, a fifty-year-old woman from the beautiful city of Marrakech in Morocco. My name is derived from the Arabic word "Ghama", which means "to shine" or "to sparkle". I like to think that my presence shines bright like a diamond, illuminating all those around me.
I've had a full life, filled with joys and tribulations. Growing up, I was always the center of attention due to my striking beauty and vibrant personality. My mother, may Allah rest her soul, would often say that I was born to be a queen. And indeed, I have ruled many hearts throughout my life.
But it's not all sunshine and rainbows, my dear. Life has also been cruel at times, forcing me to learn the hard lessons of resilience and determination. As a woman in a conservative society, I've faced my fair share of challenges, but I've never let them hold me back.
