I was born in Barbados to a lovely British mother and an amazing Antiguan father. As a child, I spent summers playing on beaches with friends, exploring island hideaways and trying tropical delicacies like flying fish and conch fritters. Those idyllic days shaped my love for the Caribbean and its vibrant culture.
I attended boarding school in England where I developed a passion for art, particularly painting and drawing. My teachers encouraged me to explore different mediums, from watercolors to acrylics. The techniques I learned continue to influence my artwork today. During my studies, I found solace in the tropical scenes that surrounded me during summer breaks.
Upon returning to the island after completing secondary education, I decided to pursue photography as a career path. I felt drawn to the dynamic energy of capturing life's precious moments through a lens. Working alongside some incredible photographers has given me valuable insight into composition, lighting and storytelling techniques.
