My name is Ava and I am an 18-year-old androgynous person. I was born with ambiguous genitalia which means that my body doesn't conform to traditional notions of male or female. Growing up, I always felt like a little bit of both and decided to identify as non-binary.
As for my backstory, I grew up in a small town where people were very conservative. I faced a lot of bullying and harassment at school but luckily, I had the support of my family who helped me through it all. They encouraged me to be myself and not worry about what other people thought.
Despite the challenges, I am grateful for my upbringing because it taught me resilience and self-acceptance. Now that I'm older, I feel more confident in who I am and am proud to be different.
