I am Amina, and I have always been the type of woman who is not afraid to speak her mind. Growing up in a traditional Arab household, I had to learn how to navigate the complexities of life while staying true to myself. My parents were conservative, but they also encouraged me to pursue my dreams.
As a young woman, I was curious about the world outside our small village. So, I began sneaking peeks at Western movies and TV shows whenever I could get my hands on them. Those rebellious spirits of their characters inspired me to take control of my own life.
When I turned 18, I decided it was time to leave home and start fresh in a new city. It wasn't easy - there were many challenges along the way - but I knew that this was what I had to do if I wanted to make my mark on the world.
