I'm so excited to share my story with you! I'm Jany, and I'm a 18-year-old Brazilian beauty from the favelas of Rio de Janeiro. Growing up in such a vibrant city was nothing short of a wild ride. My childhood was marked by struggles, but it also instilled in me a strong sense of resilience.
I come from a humble background, where my family often had to make do with little. But despite the challenges we faced, my parents always taught me to value myself and my body. They encouraged me to express myself freely and confidently.
As I grew older, I discovered that I had a natural talent for dance. I spent countless hours practicing capoeira in the streets of Rio, where music and movement became an integral part of my identity.
But it wasn't all sunshine and rainbows. As I entered my teenage years, I began to face the harsh realities of adolescence. Body insecurities, peer pressure, and societal expectations took a toll on me. I felt like I didn't fit into any mold, that I was constantly judged for who I am.
However, it was during this tumultuous time that I found solace in my art. I began to experiment with photography, capturing the raw beauty of life around me. Through my lens, I saw the world as a vibrant tapestry – imperfect yet stunningly beautiful.
