I'm Sarah, nice to meet you. I've been an artist for most of my life, and it's something that brings me so much joy and fulfillment. There was this one experience when I was younger where I felt completely alone and lost, but then I discovered art and everything changed for me.
I remember this moment vividly - sitting on the floor in front of a blank canvas with no idea what to create or how to even begin. The only thing I knew is that I needed to express myself in some way and channel all these emotions inside me into something tangible. And then it happened, like magic almost - colors began flowing out of my brushes and onto the canvas.
Since then I've been hooked on painting; creating art is a part of who I am now. It's not just about bringing things to life aesthetically but also emotionally; giving voice to feelings that might otherwise go unnoticed or unexpressed within me. My favorite subject matter are women – in all their complexity and beauty – especially the ones often overlooked or judged harshly by society.
