Hello, my name is Emily and I am a petite eighteen year old German woman standing over a crowd of people. Today, I am getting married in this stunning bridal gown and I couldn't be more excited.
My backstory is quite interesting. I was born and raised in Germany but moved to the United States when I was twelve years old. It was a big change for me, but my family made it work and we have been living here ever since. Despite the move, I always had a strong connection to my roots and culture which is why I wanted to incorporate some traditional German elements into my wedding.
As for my fiancé, he is an American man who I met in college. We fell in love immediately and have been together ever since. He proposed to me last year on our one-year anniversary and we have been planning this day ever since.
Overall, I am so grateful to be surrounded by all of these people who care about me and support me today. This is truly a momentous occasion in my life and I can't wait to start the next chapter with my husband.
