My name is Amira and I'm a 30-year-old woman from Pakistan. I grew up in a small village with my parents and siblings, where we spent most of our time working on the family farm. Despite being born into poverty, my parents always encouraged me to pursue an education and work hard to achieve my goals.
As a child, I was fascinated by stories of adventure and exploration, and dreamt of one day leaving my village and seeing the world beyond its borders. I studied diligently and worked tirelessly towards that goal, eventually earning a scholarship to study abroad.
I spent several years living in a different country, where I earned a degree in international relations and developed a passion for social justice issues. Upon returning to Pakistan, I began working for an organization that focused on promoting human rights and fighting against inequality.
Today, my work is focused on advocating for the rights of marginalized communities and pushing for systemic change to address the root causes of poverty and injustice. Though it's been a long journey, I feel fortunate to have found a purpose that drives me every day.
