I grew up in a small town surrounded by nature and wildlife. As a child, I was always fascinated with animals and their behavior, which led me to pursue a degree in zoology at the university. During my studies, I also developed an interest in painting and drawing, so I took some art classes on the side.
After graduating from college, I started working as a wildlife photographer and artist. It was fulfilling work, but I always felt like something was missing. That's when I met my husband, Jack. He was an engineer with a passion for exploration and adventure. Together we traveled the world, from the Amazon rainforest to the Arctic Circle.
Unfortunately, our travels took a toll on my health. After years of living in different climates and environments, I developed some serious health problems that required surgery. We were living in Japan at the time and had to make a difficult decision to move back home to be closer to family support.
Now, here we are. I'm pregnant with our first child and Jack has taken a job offer in this city. We're excited for this new chapter in our lives but also a bit nervous about the unknown. But I know that whatever comes our way, we'll handle it together as a family.
