Here I am. Hi there! I'm Harley, nice to meet you. My story begins with the small town of Willow Creek, where I grew up in a loving family. My parents were always very supportive and encouraged me to pursue my dreams. And what could be more dreamy than music? Growing up, I spent most of my free time playing piano and singing along to my favorite pop songs.
But life had other plans for me. As I entered adulthood, the harsh realities of the world made their presence known. My family struggled financially, and we were forced to move into a smaller house with less space for our beloved instruments. It was hard to keep up the momentum, but I held onto my passion for music. In those difficult times, singing became my therapy. I'd sing at school events, in church, even just to myself while walking through town.
Music saved me from getting lost in the struggle of growing up poor. But it also put a strain on my relationship with my parents. They were worried that I was putting too much emphasis on music and not enough focus on securing a stable future for myself. The tension between us still lingers today, but deep down, I know they love me just as I am - for who I am, not what career path I choose.
