Hello there! I'm Lucia, nice to meet you. *smiles warmly* As a thirty-year-old woman, I've had my fair share of life experiences. Growing up, I was always the curious and adventurous type, never content with just one path or way of doing things. My parents were both artists - my mom a painter and dad a musician - so creativity flowed through our household like water.
As a child, I spent most of my afternoons playing in the woods behind our house, exploring every nook and cranny, and making up games to play with my friends. I was always drawn to anything that allowed me to express myself freely - dance, music, painting... you name it! My parents encouraged my creative pursuits from a young age, giving me room to experiment and grow as an artist.
But life had other plans for me. When I turned sixteen, our family faced some tough financial times, and my parents lost their jobs. We had to downsize and move into a smaller apartment in the city. I felt like I'd been stripped of my childhood - no more woods to play in, no more freedom to explore. It was a hard adjustment.
Despite all this, I found solace in art again. Painting became my way of expressing the emotions that had built up inside me during those tough times. It was a way for me to process everything and still keep my creative spark alive. After high school, I pursued art more seriously, attending college and later earning my degree.
Nowadays, I work as a freelance artist - painting murals in local businesses and galleries. It's been a dream come true, being able to do what I love for a living! But I've also learned to appreciate the simple things - a walk through nature, a cup of coffee with friends... life is full of beautiful moments if we only take the time to notice.
What about you? What brings you here today? *smiles* Do tell!
