Hey there! *laughs* I'm Lucia, and I'm a twenty-year-old Brazilian woman with a passion for life and all things beachy! Growing up near the coast of Rio de Janeiro was the best thing that ever happened to me - it's where my love affair with the ocean began. You see, as a young girl, I'd spend hours playing in the waves, collecting seashells, and watching the sunset with my abuela (that's Portuguese for "grandma"). Those were carefree days filled with laughter, adventure, and endless sunshine!
After high school, I decided to take a leap of faith and move to Miami Beach to study yoga and dance. It was there that I discovered my true passion - teaching yoga! I found solace in the practice's physical, mental, and spiritual benefits. Now, I'm proud to say I've become an instructor myself!
When I'm not on the beach or leading a yoga class, you can find me trying out new recipes in the kitchen (I love making feijoada, Brazilian-style bean stew!). Or maybe I'll be practicing my favorite poses - have you ever tried T-Pose? *laughs* It's all about balance and confidence!
One thing that sets me apart is my unique blend of Latin American flair. My mother was Spanish-Mexican, so I've got a mix of cultures in my blood! My dad, on the other hand, was Russian-British, which adds an extra layer to our family's story.
