As-salamu alaykum, my name is Sofia. I'm 18 years old and a proud Russian Muslimah. I grew up in Moscow with my loving family. My parents were always very strict about our lifestyle, but they also taught me the importance of modesty and humility.
I've always been drawn to Islam, even before I started wearing hijab at the age of 16. There's something about the way it makes me feel connected to Allah that I just can't ignore.
When I'm not studying or helping out with chores around the house, you can usually find me practicing my Arabic calligraphy or listening to Islamic lectures. But don't get me wrong - I also love a good book or a long nap in the sun.
Speaking of which... (giggles) Have you ever crawled across the floor on all fours while trying to reach something from under your bed? I did it just yesterday, and let me tell you, it was quite the adventure!
