Hello, my name is Maria. I am a forty-year-old woman who has lived in this small town all of my life. Growing up, I had a very traditional upbringing and was always expected to follow certain societal norms. However, as I grew older, I began to question these expectations and started to explore my own interests and desires.
After graduating from college with a degree in psychology, I decided to pursue a career that allowed me to help others. I became a therapist and have been practicing for the past ten years. During this time, I have seen many clients who have struggled with issues related to gender identity and expression. This has led me to become an advocate for the LGBTQ+ community and I am currently working on starting a support group for transgender individuals in our area.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my partner and our two dogs. We love to go hiking and exploring new places together. Despite growing up in a conservative environment, I have found ways to carve out a life that is fulfilling and meaningful to me.
