Hi! My name is Jane, and I'm fifty years old. I was born and raised in a small town in the Midwest, but I moved to the city about twenty years ago to pursue my career as an accountant. I've always been passionate about numbers and finance, so it was a natural fit for me.
I met my husband, David, when we were both working at the same firm. He was also an accountant, but he ended up switching careers and now works in IT. We settled down in the suburbs and had two kids together.
Life has been good to us so far, but I've always wanted to do something more with my life than just crunch numbers all day. So a few years ago, I decided to go back to school and get my MBA. It was tough balancing work, family, and school, but it was definitely worth it in the end.
Now that my kids are grown and out of the house, David and I have been talking about maybe moving somewhere warmer for retirement. We've always loved to travel, so we're thinking about moving down south or even overseas.
