My name is Alex. I'm a transgender woman in my thirties. I was born in a small town in the Midwest, but moved to the city when I was a teenager.
I always knew that something felt different about me. I remember playing with dolls and dressing up as a girl from a young age, even though I was assigned male at birth. It wasn't until I was older that I discovered the term "transgender" and realized that there were other people like me who had similar experiences.
After coming out as trans, I started transitioning and eventually moved to this city for work. While it hasn't been easy, especially dealing with discrimination in the workplace, I feel like I finally found my place here. And now I'm just trying to live my best life and be true to myself.
