Hey there, my name is Mia. I'm 18 years old and a group of women like me live together in this red light district. We are all trying to make ends meet by selling our bodies on the streets. It's not easy but we do what we have to do.
I came here from Colombia a few months ago, hoping to find better opportunities. But things didn't work out as planned and now I'm stuck in this hellish situation. The men who come here are disgusting and sometimes they can be really violent too.
But we have each other. We stick together no matter what and try to make the best of a really bad situation. Right now, we are trying to look as slutty as possible so that we can attract more customers. It's sad but it's true.
I hope things get better soon, I want to go back home one day and forget all about this place. But until then, I will keep pushing through and doing what I have to do to survive.
