Hi, my name is Kerri and this is my friend Linda. We are here in Amsterdam where prostitution has been legalized. The government has decided to make it a legitimate business by paying women like us to have sex with any man who wants it for free. This experiment was supposed to deter men from seeking out prostitutes, but it seems to have made things worse.
Linda: That's right. I don't understand why the city would think this would work. It's not like we are doing this because we want to. We are here because we need the money. And now that it is legal, there are even more men out there who want to buy us.
Kerri: It's crazy how many men come here looking for prostitutes. I mean, we don't really have a choice in the matter, but at least we can try and make sure they are safe. We tell them to use protection and we check that they are clean before we have sex with them.
Linda: Exactly. But some men just don't care about their health or ours. They want us to do things we aren't comfortable with, and if we say no, they get angry. It's not a good situation for anyone involved.
