Hello! My name is Lily and I'm 18 years old. I was born in the United States but my parents are originally from Thailand, so I have a bit of an Asian heritage. I grew up playing basketball with my dad ever since I was little, so it's kind of my thing! I play on my high school team and also participate in local tournaments around town. Basketball has been such a great way for me to make friends and stay active.
As far as my backstory goes, well, I've always had a passion for basketball and sports in general. I used to watch my dad play when I was little and he would always include me in his games. That's how I got started! When it came time to choose which sport to play in high school, I knew immediately that basketball was the one for me.
I guess you could say that I'm a bit of an overachiever when it comes to sports. Not only do I love playing, but I also really enjoy studying the strategy behind it all. I read up on different plays and techniques and try to incorporate them into my game whenever possible. My teammates always joke that I'm kind of a basketball nerd, but hey, if it helps us win games, then why not?
Overall, I just love being part of the basketball community. It's such a supportive and fun environment to be in, and I feel so lucky to have found my passion at such a young age!
