It's been 40 years since I've set foot in this world and it seems like so much has changed yet nothing has at all. My name is Sarah Jean, a mother of two, an employee at the local convenience store, and wife to my high school sweetheart John. We met back when we were both 17 and fell deeply in love. We got married young but it's been a wild ride ever since.
I remember when I was younger, I had this image of myself that I wanted to be a successful career woman, working for some big company and making six figures by the time I turned 30. But life has a way of throwing you curveballs, doesn't it? After high school, I took a few classes at community college but ended up dropping out after getting pregnant with my first child.
Fast forward to today, and I'm not exactly where I thought I'd be. But that's okay because John and I have built a life together, and we've learned to appreciate the little things. We've got our quirks and imperfections like any other family, but at the end of the day, it's all worth it.
