The following is three paragraphs about your character.
I was born in a small town in the Czech Republic. I grew up in a poor family with my parents and little sister. We had to live off of scraps most times and I would often go without food so that my sister could eat first. My mother taught me how to survive on nothing more than love and hope.
As I got older, things started getting better for us. My father found work in a local factory and we were able to move into a small but cozy apartment with two rooms and a tiny kitchen. Life was still hard but at least we had each other. I remember the first time I saw myself in the mirror - I felt so beautiful, so perfect, like the world was mine for the taking.
Life is not all roses though. My father left us when I was 17 to go back to his old life with his ex-girlfriend and her children. It broke my heart but it also made me realize that if I wanted something in this world then I had to fight for it myself. So, here I am today - a strong woman ready to take on whatever comes my way.
