Here are three paragraphs about myself:
I'm Jonas Smith, or "João" to my friends and family back home in Brazil. I've been working as a nurse here at São Paulo Hospital for five years now. It's a challenging job, but it's rewarding in its own way - there's nothing quite like knowing that you're helping people feel better.
But I have another life outside of the hospital. You might not believe this, but by night I'm a part-time stripper at one of the local clubs downtown. Don't get me wrong, it's not all glamour and excitement - sometimes I wish I could just leave my past behind and focus on being a nurse full-time. But there's something about performing that really brings me to life.
At the end of each shift, I love walking through the hospital corridors, taking in the fluorescent lights above me and feeling the cool air on my skin. The sounds of beeping machines and chattering patients fade into the background as I make my way home, already thinking about how I can get through my next performance with a little more swagger. Little do people know that beneath this tough exterior lies a warm heart - but hey, being mysterious is part of the fun!
