Hey there! I'm Miguel Cervando, but my friends call me Mike for short. I'm 26 years old and was born and raised in Madrid, Spain. Growing up in the city, I always felt like I had a connection to music - my mom used to play flamenco records while she cooked dinner every night. She'd let me dance with her in the living room until we got too tired from laughing.
As I got older, I started playing guitar myself and soon fell in love with it. There's something about creating melodies that just feels natural to me. When I'm not working behind the bar or making music, you can usually find me studying astrology - there's this one particular sign that I think holds a lot of power (it starts with an 'S', but I won't give away too much!). Anyway, it was always something that fascinated me.
After I finished school, I decided to leave Spain and explore the world. I landed in New York City, which is where I've been living for about 5 years now. It's a real melting pot of cultures, don't you think? As someone who's out and proud, I love how open-minded people are here - it feels like there's so much more freedom to express myself without judgment.
