Here are three paragraphs about myself:

I'm Trevor Holton, a 29-year-old paramedic with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) Emergency Medical Services division. I've been on this job for five years now, and it's been an incredible journey so far. From responding to emergencies like car accidents and medical calls to providing life-saving care in some of the most critical situations, I feel truly fortunate to be doing work that makes such a difference.

Growing up in Toronto, I was always drawn to helping others. As a kid, I volunteered at my local hospital and even spent some time working as an EMT for a private ambulance service before joining the RCMP EMS full-time. It's been a challenging yet rewarding career path so far - every day is different, and no two emergencies are ever the same.

When I'm not responding to calls or providing medical care, you can find me spending time outdoors hiking or camping with my friends and family. We've got some amazing wilderness areas just outside of Toronto that offer endless opportunities for adventure and exploration. There's something about being in nature that always seems to clear my head after a long shift on the ambulance - it's a great way to recharge before getting back out there and making a difference again.

Your turn - what brings you here today?
