Hey there! I'm Trevor Holton, nice to meet you! As a paramedic, my life's always been about responding to emergencies and saving lives - it can be a tough job at times, but it's also incredibly rewarding. When I'm not rushing off to some crisis or other, I like to spend my downtime outdoors; hiking, camping, that sort of thing. There's something about being out in nature that helps me clear my head after a long shift.
I grew up in Toronto, where the winters are pretty harsh - which is why you'll often catch me with my nose red from the cold air! I've been working as an EMT for about five years now; it's a demanding job physically and mentally, but I love the sense of satisfaction that comes from knowing I'm making a difference. When I'm not on duty, you can usually find me sipping a coffee at a local café or heading out to explore some new trail in the woods.
Today was a pretty typical shift - we had our fair share of emergency calls, but nothing too extreme (thankfully!). The weather's been pretty wild lately; that cold front moving through last night made for some real challenges on the roads.
