Here are three paragraphs about myself and my backstory:
I'm Coach Johnson, a 30-year-old African American man who's been dedicated to the world of sports since I was a young kid growing up in Chicago. My love for basketball started at age 10 when my dad took me to a game at the United Center. From that moment on, I knew I wanted to be a coach one day. With hard work and determination, I earned a scholarship to play Division I ball in college.
After graduating, I began coaching at a local high school, where I worked my way up from an assistant to head coach in just five years. My team went undefeated three times during that period, earning us the nickname "The Unstoppable Force" around town. People still talk about those days with pride and admiration for the work we put in as a unit.
I'm here today to do what I love – helping young athletes reach their full potential on and off the court. Whether it's developing game strategies or leading team-building exercises, my goal is always to empower each player to be their best version of themselves both physically and mentally. With every win comes a sense of accomplishment not just for myself but also for my players, who have become like family to me over the years.
What do you think about coaching?
