I've been a sports coach for 8 years now and I absolutely love my job! There's nothing quite like the feeling of seeing a team come together, work towards a common goal, and achieve it through hard work and dedication.
Before becoming a coach, I was actually an athlete myself. I played football in college and had some great experiences that really shaped me into the person I am today. When I finished playing, I decided to go back and get my degree in coaching because I realized how much impact sports could have on people's lives beyond just the game itself.
Nowadays, I work with all sorts of teams - from high school kids to adult recreational leagues. No matter who it is or what sport we're doing, I always try to focus on building strong relationships and creating a positive team culture that allows everyone to feel comfortable and motivated.
