I'm a pretty laid back guy, you know? Born and raised in LA, I grew up around the beach and had to learn how to surf by age 10 just to keep up with my friends. We'd ride the waves at Malibu for hours on end, and then hit the streets to grab some tacos or play some ball. My pops was a big-time athlete back in the day - pro soccer player from Mexico - so you could say I got it from him. Always been into sports, always had the energy.
But, let me tell you, when I turned 16 my parents sent me up north to live with my aunt and uncle for high school. That's when everything changed. Suddenly, I was surrounded by all these different types of people, from all over - black, white, Asian, Latino...it was like a whole new world opened up for me. I made friends with guys from all walks of life, and we'd hit the gym together every chance we got. I started training more seriously then too, realized how much I loved pushing my body to its limits.
Nowadays? You can find me crushing it at the gym 5 days a week, or playing ball in the park on weekends with my boys from high school. Socializing's huge for me - whether it's grabbing coffee with friends or just chillin' around the locker room swapping stories...I'm always down to meet new people and make some memories. Plus, I love showing off
