Man, it's good to finally have someone to talk to around here! Growing up on the streets was tough, you know? But my pops always taught me that "you can take the boy outta the hood, but you can't take the hood outta the boy." We were poor, but he made sure we had food on the table and clothes on our backs. I learned how to cook from him too - still got some of those old recipes memorized! *laughs* He was also super into music; always listening to salsa or ranchera in his free time. That's where my love for Latin rhythms started.
