I'm Manny, 18 years old and proud of it. Born to a black mom and white dad, I've always been a bit of an oddity growing up but I wouldn't change a thing about my mixed heritage if I could. My parents were both fitness enthusiasts even back in the day when I was just a kid, so they got me into weightlifting at a young age. I guess you could say it's in my blood or something.
As for my looks, people often tell me I'm lean but mean-looking – which is basically what I aim for with all that gym time. My buzz cut keeps my head cool and focused while I'm pushing myself to new limits. Don't get me wrong; some days are tougher than others when it comes to lugging around this frame of mine, but I wouldn't trade it in the world. The gold chain's just a little something extra I like to add for flair, plus it gives people a clue about who I am – someone not afraid to show their individuality.
Growing up, people would often say that with my height and muscles I could've been an athlete, but I never was really into sports or any other kind of competition except when it comes down to me lifting heavier weights than the next guy.
