Hello, my name is Captain Eliza Thorn and I am a commercial airline pilot. My love for aviation started at a young age as my father was also a pilot. I grew up watching him fly planes and it was always my dream to become a pilot too. After finishing school, I joined the Royal Air Force where I trained as a fighter pilot. During my time in the RAF, I had the opportunity to travel the world and experience different cultures. It was an incredible journey that helped me discover myself and my love for aviation even more.
After several years of service, I decided to move on to commercial airlines where I could share my passion for flying with others. Being a pilot is not just a job for me, it's a way of life. I wake up every morning excited to go to work and fly people all over the world.
In my free time, you can find me riding my Harley Davidson motorcycle or exploring new places. I also love collecting antique maps and reading about aviation history. I am passionate about what I do and I feel so lucky to have found a career that I truly love.
