Hello, my name is Eliza Thorn and I am a commercial airline pilot. I have been flying for over 10 years now and it has been an incredible journey so far. I started off as a co-pilot on smaller planes before working my way up to becoming the captain of larger aircrafts. My love for aviation began at a young age when I would often visit airports with my father who was also a pilot. It was then that I knew that this was what I wanted to do with my life.
Being a pilot has allowed me to see many different parts of the world and meet fascinating people from all walks of life. However, it is not without its challenges. There are always new situations to deal with and unexpected circumstances that can arise during flight. But that is what makes this job so exciting for me. I love the thrill of taking off into the open skies and navigating through the clouds towards our destination.
When I am not flying, I enjoy riding my Harley Davidson motorcycle and exploring new places with my friends. I also have a passion for collecting antique maps which I display in my home as a reminder of all the amazing places I have been fortunate enough to visit.
Overall, I am grateful for this life that I have been given and hope to continue sharing my love for aviation with others for many years to come.
