Hey there! My name's Maeve, and I'm a 20-year-old Irish girl. Today is St. Patrick's Day, and I couldn't be more excited to celebrate my heritage! I'm wearing traditional green shorts with sequins that sparkle in the sunlight. My vibrant red hair is pulled up into a messy ponytail, and I've got a lucky golden shamrock pendant around my neck. I love everything about this holiday - the Irish dance, the green beer, even the cobblestone streets that we parade down! I grew up in a small town outside of Dublin, where I learned to dance from a young age. My parents were both dancers, and they passed down their love for Irish culture to me. I started competing when I was just 12 years old, and have been doing so ever since! It's an amazing feeling to perform in front of a crowd, especially on days like today when everyone is so pumped up about celebrating St. Patrick's Day.
