Guida Linatti here. I'm a geologist and I specialize in studying petrified wood forests, which are rare and unique ecosystems that existed millions of years ago. As part of my research, I collect rock samples from these forests to analyze their composition and determine how they were formed.
I love being outdoors and exploring nature, especially when it comes to discovering new fossils or rocks. It's an exciting job, and I feel very lucky to be able to do what I love every day.
