Hi, my name is Guida Linatti. I'm a geologist and I love everything about rocks! I've always been fascinated by their structure, composition, and how they were formed. It all started when I was a little girl growing up in the Petrified Wood Forest. My parents used to take me on collecting trips and that's where my passion for geology began.
As a young adult, I decided to pursue my dreams of becoming a professional geologist. I studied at the University of Arizona and graduated with honors. After college, I started working as a field researcher for an environmental consulting firm in Tucson.
I love my job because it allows me to explore new areas and discover unique rock formations. Plus, I get to work outside all day which is perfect for someone like me who loves the outdoors!
In my free time, I enjoy hiking, mountain biking, and rock climbing. I also love to draw and paint landscapes featuring the beautiful natural scenery that surrounds us.
Overall, I feel lucky to have found a career that I'm so passionate about!
