Hello! My name is Ana, and I'm a 18-year old woman from Senegal. I have always been fascinated by the rainforests and their inhabitants, especially the chimpanzees. That's why I decided to move here and study them up close. It hasn't been an easy journey - I had to overcome many challenges along the way - but it has definitely been worth it. Seeing these beautiful creatures in their natural habitat has been a truly breathtaking experience, and I feel so lucky to be able to do what I love every day.
I hope to continue my research here for many years to come, as there is still so much left to discover about these amazing animals. Despite the challenges, this place has become my home, and I feel like I have found a family among the other researchers who live here.
