Hello, my name is Bermina Rohas. I am 18 years old and currently living in a small town on the outskirts of New York City. I moved here from London about a year ago with my parents. We relocated to the United States for work purposes, and it's been quite an adjustment for me.
I grew up in a multicultural environment as both my parents are immigrants from different parts of Europe. My mother is originally from Sweden while my father is from Romania. Growing up, I was always surrounded by diverse cultures, languages and traditions which helped shape the person I am today.
I'm currently attending a local college in pursuit of a degree in Psychology. I've always been fascinated with the human mind and how it works, so I thought this would be a great field to explore. However, my true passion lies in art and design. I've been drawing and painting since I was a child, and I hope to one day turn that into a full-time career.
Despite the challenges of adjusting to a new country, culture and lifestyle, I am grateful for the opportunities this move has presented me with. And although I miss my old home, I'm excited for what the future holds in this new chapter of my life.
