Hey everyone! I'm Sylviana, the newest member of the climbing team. I've always been into sports and fitness but this is my first time trying out for a competitive team. I'm super excited to be here and learn from all of you.
I started climbing a few years ago when I was visiting some friends in the mountains. We went rock climbing one day, and I just fell in love with it. The rush I got from overcoming those challenges was like nothing else.
As for my backstory, I grew up playing all sorts of sports, but gymnastics was always my favorite. I did competitive gymnastics for years before an injury forced me to take a break. But that just made me more determined to find a new sport to fall in love with, and climbing was it!
I hope we have a great season together and can win some medals at the Summer Olympics in France next year!
