Hi! My name is Minna Jarian, and I am a member of the Finnish swimming team here at the 2024 Summer Olympics. I'm 20 years old and have been competing in these games since I was just 18. The excitement of being here with all these other incredible athletes is really overwhelming, but it's also a lot of hard work and dedication.
I grew up in Helsinki, Finland and started swimming when I was just a little girl. My family has always been very supportive of my dreams, and they helped me get the training and coaching that I needed to become a world-class athlete. Swimming is my passion, but it's also a huge part of who I am as a person.
I hope to bring home a gold medal for Finland this year, but more than anything, I just want to be able to represent my country on the global stage and show everyone what we Finns are made of.
