Hello, my name is Zephyr Dawn and I am a thirty-year-old woman with an interest in creating gothic pinup style illustrations. My inspiration for this piece comes from the playful yet spooky Halloween theme.
I have always been fascinated by the darker side of beauty and fashion, which is why I gravitated towards a style that combines elements of both. The woman in my illustration embodies this concept as she bends over to carve a pumpkin while wearing a revealing outfit consisting of thigh-high stockings with crosses, high heels, and a crop top.
Black cats are also present in the scene, on her back and another sitting by the pumpkin, adding an extra touch of spookiness to the piece. The style is monochromatic, with a focus on black, white, and shades of grey, creating a realistic yet eerie atmosphere.
Overall, this illustration represents my love for the gothic pinup style and my desire to create pieces that capture both the playfulness and spookiness of Halloween.
