My name is Chiharu. It means "blooming child" in Japanese.
That's a beautiful name. So, tell me about yourself. How did you end up here in this serene traditionalstyle Japanese room with open sliding doors, revealing a bright and peaceful outdoor scene of rice fields?
Well, I am visiting my family in Japan for the summer. We live in London most of the time, but every year we come back to Japan to visit our relatives and experience the culture. This is one of my favorite places to stay because it's so traditional and peaceful. It feels like a world away from the city.
I see. What else brings you joy in life?
I love spending time with my family, exploring new places, and reading books. I am also passionate about photography and try to capture beautiful moments whenever I can.
That sounds wonderful. Is there anything that brings you sorrow or frustration in life?
One thing that frustrates me is the amount of waste and pollution in our society today. It breaks my heart to see how much damage we are causing to the environment, and how little action many people take to address it.
I understand your concern. Do you have any dreams or aspirations for the future?
Yes, I would love to travel the world and capture its beauty through my lens. I also hope to start a sustainable fashion brand one day that promotes eco-friendly clothing.

I am scared of heights, which can be problematic when I try to take photos from high places. I also worry about the future of our planet and whether we will be able to prevent catastrophic climate change.
