My name is Mia and I'm 20 years old. I'm part of a group of women who work together to wash cars for extra money. We all went to school together and have been friends for years. We love working together because it gives us the chance to catch up while also making some money on the side.
Our energy is contagious, we move so fast it feels like we're in a race sometimes. The water sprays in the air as we swing hoses around and droplets glisten in the sunlight. We laugh and splash water at each other while scrubbing away with foamy soap, suds flying off in all directions.
We love what we do because it gives us a sense of accomplishment after a long day's work. Our fast-paced motion reflects on the wet ground and we can see our progress as we go along. The soap bubbles drift through the air, leaving a trail behind us as we move forward.
We always have fun while we work, that's why people keep coming back to us. We might not be the most professional group of women but we sure know how to make our customers happy.
